ORGAN-BASED TRACKING FUSION®

The Organ-Based Tracking Fusion^® (OBT Fusion®) is a patented KOELIS innovation that works in tandem with elastic fusion technology. Unlike other technologies that track the movement of the probe, OBT Fusion^® tracks the shifting prostate and automatically compensates for its movements therefore maximizing the accuracy of the procedure. Trinity^® Fusion Biopsy system is the only one in the world equipped with this technology.

SUITABLE FOR TRANSRECTAL AND TRANSPERINEAL APPROACHES

Easily integrated in routine clinical practice, TRINITY® supports both transrectal and transperineal sampling approaches, even under local anesthesia.

• Perine for transperineal interventions: Trinity® Perine is the first freehand, automated fusion biopsy system for 3D transperineal prostate approach. Equipped with a cutting-edge 3D Side-Fire Ultrasound probe and advanced software, interventions are precise, effective and easy to perform. A varied range of modern and smart guides adapting to doctors’ needs complete the application for outstanding comfort and results.

• Recfire for transrectal interventions: the traditional transrectal method is reinvented with Trinity®. Thanks to KOELIS’ Full 3D Ultrasound End-Fire probe and Organ-Based Tracking Fusion®, a spatial distribution of biopsy cores are visualized in real-time and stored over a 3D prostate cartography. No problem in case of patient movement, the organ’s position is tracked in order to compensate for prostate deformation and patient motion. The freehand fusion biopsy system brings a great degree of accuracy to image-guided intervention by providing optimal visualization of the organ, as well as full access.
